The contest's theme is decided keeping in mind the relevance of a current situation, topic, issue which involves all of us as human beings. ​
​The current theme provides an opportunity to showcase artistic skill and bring to light an artistic viewpoint to the thematic which has made a global impact on our lives. It has hanged our living, eating and work habits. It has made us think. And who better to express so many emotions than an artist?

​Categories

​The artists may participate in the following categories:
a) Artists of age between 8 to 10
b) Artists of age between 10 to 12
c) Artists of age between 12 to 14
d) Artists of age between 14 to 17

Nationality: Any nationality​
PAINTING SIZE ELIGIBILITY
  • between 8 to 14 year : only A4 size painting is eligible
  • between 14 to 17 year: only A3 size painting is eligible
​LAYOUT
Both Landscape or Portrait Format entries are eligible.
Any one of the following may lead to disqualification of the entry:
  • The art-work contains any objectionable/ derogatory  subject or copyrighted material.
  • The artist did not give correct information during registration.
  • The image of the drawing/ painting is not clear.
  • The same artwork was submitted multiple times by the artist.
  • Name and other details of the artist are missing on the painting.

Following colour mediums are permitted 

  • Water Color
  • Poster Color
  • Acrylics Color
  • Oil Color
  • Graphite
  • Charcoal or pencil shading​
  • ​Pastel Colours
  • ​Pen and Ink​
NOTE: 
​Digital Art and Craft Works are NOT eligible and will be disqualified.
Registration can be done through the online form available on the top of this page.
The registration form can be filled by either of the following:
  • The artist/
  • Artist's legal guardian/
  • Artist's school teacher/
  • ​Artist's art teacher
NUMBER OF ENTRIES
  • One entry per candidate will be accepted.
  • Multiple entries will be not be eligible.
  • ​In case a candidate submits more than one entry, the first submitted entry will be accepted.

Entry Fee

Participants have to pay an Fee of Rs. 50/-per entry to participate in TNV Contest.
  • The programme will start over every month.
  • The Jury will decide the meritorious entries during the first week of the following month and declare the result online by publishing the best entries on E&B's website.
​To submit an entry, the artist has to use the online registration form available at the top of this page: TNV Registration Form.

The Participant must:
  • register through online form
  • submit the art work through the online form only

The participant must scan his/her artwork in high resolution (less than 5MB) and upload the same in the specified space in the TNV Registration Form.
The artist must write a small self introduction in the TNV Registration Form.
Each artist must mention the following in one corner of the painting:
  • ​Name of the artist
  • Age of the artist
  • Colour Medium used
  • ​Country​

NOTE: The painting should not contain any other written message/slogan/ text.

Merit Recognition

Winners' art will be felicitated in the following manner 
  • Certificate of Merit to top 25 artists (Number may be increased)
  • Certificate of Participation to all participants.
  • Publication of the artwork on E&B website
  • Publication of winners' photos on E&B website
The received paintings will be judged on the basis of 
​ICE-PAPA approach.
ICE-PAPA is acronym of: Innovation, Creativity, Engaging, Perfection, Age of Artist, Presentation and Artistic Ability.

Selection

  • Entries will be judged on a 10 point scale.
  • ​Eligibility for Certificate of Merit: those scoring more than 8 points
  • ​Eligibility for Certificate of Participation: those scoring less than 8 points
  • Best art-works will be selected by E&B jury members. 
  • Winners will be informed by email before publication of the result.
  • The certificates will be issued online, printable by the artist.
