French Principals in India

French delegation in India on the invitation of the Embassy of France in India.

Delegation comprising of:
Principals of secondary schools from Paris
Principals of senior secondary schools from Paris
Principals of hotel management and design schools from Paris
Chairman of Board of schools in Paris

Dates of visit in India: 5th December to 10th December 2011

6th December 2011: 
Joint meeting and interactive session with Principals of schools of Delhi NCR

Visits of schools:
5th December 2011- Delhi,
7th December 2011- Noida,
8th December 2011- Agra,
9th December 2011- Gurgaon

Aim of visit:
The Embassy of France has invited a high profile delegation of Principals and Chairman of the Board of schools from Paris in order to foster and encourage partnerships between Indian and French schools. This is a step towards long term relationship building efforts made by the Embassy which shall encourage various kinds of partnerships, be it school exchange programmes, or pen pals between the students, or even common academic projects that can be started in the coming future. This visit shall also enable the French Principals to see for themselves the progress India has made in the field of education and at the same time enable them to meet their counterparts in three emerging cities of India.
